Dream Destination
My ultimate dream destination would be Japan.
There is so much to do in Japan. From dinning on fine meals, to visiting Japan's many islands, or indulging in Japan's rich culture. I would travel across Japan visiting popular places like Tokyo, Mount Fuji and so on. I would eat at every restaurant I stumble upon and try everything on it's menu. I really want to visit Aoshima Island. Aoshima Island is one among a couple of other islands that is called 'Cat Island'. The islands are a popular tourist spot because the islands are over run with cats.

I would also like to visit Japan's biggest aquarium the Okinawa Churaumi aquarium. Their main tank holds manta rays, whale sharks and a variety of other fish. This feature tank is one of the biggest tanks in the world.

My Future Career

My Future Career

My future career would have something to do with animation. Whether it is game animation or movie animation I have not decided yet. After I graduate from ACSS; I will work for a little while, trying saving up some money. But after that I will go to Vancouver Film School, to learn about animation and possibly make a decision

My Future

My Future
In my future I see myself as a very successful animator. I would finally be able to breath life into my ideas. The worlds I would make, would be breath taking. The characters I would create, would be compelling and interesting. The stories I would make would be fantastic. My work would inspire the next generation to be imaginative and creative. Their minds would explode when they see my creations. My animation would even rival the great studio Pixar.

Also in my future I see myself having a massive collection of books. The bookshelfs would seem endless and would be filled with great books. For example 'The Plague Dogs', 'Room' and 'Fifteen Lanes'

ROOM

The story of room begins with five-year-old Jack and his Ma celebrating his birthday in Room. Jack has lived in Room for his whole life, knowing next to nothing about the outside world. Jack and Ma get routinely visits from a man Jack calls 'Old Nick'. Old Nick brings them their food, clothing and other necessities. Everything seems normal and happy at the beginning, but as the story progress it becomes much more darker. It is revealed later in the story that Old Nick kidnapped Ma when she was nineteen years old. She has been trapped inside Room for seventeen years, getting raped and abused daily. Through her pain she has managed to create a safe environment for her son Jack. Much later in the book Ma and Jack finally escape from Room and Old Nick. It was hard for me to read the beginning because of the way Jack personifies the objects inside Room. There was Rug, Bed, Wardrobe and many more things. It was just a bit awkward to read, but as I continued I was hooked. I was excited to learn what Jack and Ma did each day, how they used their time inside Room. My favorite character was Ma because even though she was kidnapped and kept prisoner for seven years; it doesn't phase her. I have only read up to the point of where their at the hospital, after Jack and Ma escaped. I'm very excited to see how Ma reacts to seeing her parents. But I'm not excited to get to the end of their story because I don't want it to end. At least I get to watch the film adaptation of the book though.

'Watership Down' Is The Greatest Book

'Watership Down' is a adventure novel, about a group of rabbits trying to find a new home after their previous home was destroyed. It was written by Richard Adams, a very talented author. They travel across the English country side and meet many new friends and enemies. They are then confronted with a uncontrollable foe, that stands in their way of finding peace. This book was incredible. The characters were amazing, the setting was breath taking and the langue was interesting. My favorite character was Blackavar because after being subjected to mistreatment, he didnt lose much of his personality. Richard Adams created a langue called 'Lapine' specifically for the novel. For example a homba is a fox and a hrududu is any time of vehicle. Adams also name some of his characters in the langue as well. For example 'Hyzenthlay', which means fur shinning like dew. My favorite word was silflay, which means to go above ground and eat. The book was also adapted into a cherished movie and a acceptable TV series.

'Go Set A Watchmen' is not a sequel for 'To Kill A Mockingbird'

Many people were very disappointed with Harper Lee's supposed 'sequel' to her previous book 'To Kill A Mockingbird'. Readers were surprised to find that Harper Lee has change many of TKAM original aspects. For example Scout has grown up into a rebellious young adult and Atticus Finch is now a racist old man. Many readers were outraged that Harper Lee drastically changed Atticus righteous figure into a crude bigot. Many people have forgotten that 'Go Set A Watchmen'  is not a direct sequel, it is rather a separate story entirely. This book was the first draft of TKAM, that has now been turned into a book. This book gives deep insight into American history and how different society was back in the day. I am glad this book exists. I have always yearned for more TKAM and my head exploded when I discovered 'Go Set A Watchmen'. This is my favorite book i have read so far, despite everything being so different.
